Stefan Nørd

Podcast Host, Founder & Editor in Chief

“In 2022 I was looking for an award which would bring together the community of passionate design lovers and connect them with likeminded individuals. Often, the awards are given out based on what a panel of judges decide, which is great as they are the experts, but I wanted something different. My idea was to create an award which can be voted by the public, like you and me, and the winner is selected by the community.“

Why do we need another design award?

The idea of the The Scandinavian Design by NordicWannabe Award belongs to Stefan Nørd since 2022. Stefan is a podcast host, founder & editor in chief of NordicWannabe - Germany’s best place for all things Nordic! Stefan brings Scandinavian interior inspiration & design ideas to people‘s homes.
